    Can you combine a custom PC with AM2 CPU (AMD 64 X2 6000+) with DDR3 RAM?

    Hi all, just wondering if you can use this motherboard, and use the AM2 cpu in combination with DDR3 RAM?:

    This is the ram:

    Would they both be compatible?

    I know bviously you cannot combined DDR2 RAM with DDR3 RAM, for sure.

    Thanks in advance!.

    The mobo specs say-> DDR3 1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-buffered

    The ram you picked out will probably work...but at the slight'y slower speed. I'd look for ram rated at 1600.
