No bashes retail companies like HP or compaq like i do however i just found something that completely changes my miond about compaq...
Well two things
1. Handhelds.org is the #1 place for the current pda linux projects and is hosted by compaq. Open source from a retail company???

2. as if linux wasn't enough, compaq started the itsy project. This is to be the best handheld pc ever. The current prototypes are using 50ns edo.
