Abit KT7 and SBLive

Hi,

I had problems with my MX300 and the KT7 board, so I bought an SBlive like everyone said. Installed the latest MB and Soundcard divers. There is still something wrong. When playing games the music is loud, but character speech goes from being very loud to nearly in-audible all the time. The same wacky problem is happening in all sorts of games. Anyone have any suggestions?

Check the volume settings in the system tray (the speaker thingy). The CD Audio may be turned way up (where music for games sometimes is played from) or see if the Wave volume is way down. Try and make them the same level and see if it makes any difference.
