now that i updated my drivers for my rage mobility on my laptop, quake3 or HeavyMetal, the game rez goes to 640x480 or 800x600, but the desktop rez stays at 1024x768...as you can probably guess, this is very annoying! Either there is a black screen behind the game, or the desktop is behind the game(like it was in a window), but the game thinks it "fullscreen"
has anyone seen this happened, and know how to fix it??
I would imagine that you should be able to fix that by setting your desktop resolution to whatever you plan on playing the game at before you load the game...of course your desktop will look like crap but you just change it back when your done.
yes, i thought about that, but it would be a hassle...today, i played q3 and HM in 800x600 and it displayed normally, but q3 in the widescreen rez still screws up
