    Lightbulb Could it be??

I was searching for a good price for a GF1 DDR, when i stumbled across this price:"V7100 G-Force 2 Pure DDR AGP Retail 32MB $ 279.99" The price is canadian dollars BTW. And I thought to myself, could it be? The only limiting factorfor the MX is tha bandwith, enter DDR. Practically full GF2 for price of GF1?! Is this possible or just a typo and my hopes will go down the drain. Please be true.. PLEASE!

That seems believable. Here in the US, you can get DDR's for around $180 or so. And as for the speed, I think that the DDR's are around 30%-50% slower than the GeForce2 GTS boards (Much more so in 16-bit...), which you can usually find for around $50 or so more than a GF1 DDR. So, the price/performance ratio actually is in the GF2's court, at least here in the US...
