I really need help. I need the older version of media player. the small compact one. where can i download it or can someone send me the files i need. thanks.

Have you checked the microsoft.com homepage?

They have som old versions I think. Why do you need exactly this one?

You could probably find similar programs at sites like download.com etc.

As in you have WinME and you hate that big, nasty Media Player 7? I don't like it either.

You can also associate media files with the mplayer2.exe (the older, small compact one) instead of Media Player 7. It's found in the Windows Media Player folder in Program files.

dont u ppl know that the older versions of the software are still on ur system... look in the c:\program files\windows media player folder, and the program u want should be mplayer2 -- this is the old MP 6.4 -- if u need the really old one, im not sure ur gonna find it... but the 6.4 can still be used for whatever u want the older one for.
