Once you get into the Dungeon it is excellent, I highly enjoyed it. Baldur"s Gate 2 light story wise but the mechanics are pretty much the same. Probably runs fine with the latest patch.

There's a new game coming out soon called Din's Curse; demo was just released and it is pretty darn fun (albeit a little ugly). Definitely worth checking out.

There was a game on the 3DO system, that played like Diablo and i wonder if it was made by the Diablo team, can`t remember the name of it, seeing as i sold my 3DO system to buy a Playstation. BTW the game started with the hero in the dungeon and the only way to get items, was by what the monstors droped, meaning identify scrolls and potions.

Was this first person or top-down? Sounds like it could be DeathKeep.

You are right it was Deathkeep, i don`t remember if it was first person or top- down in a way i think it was both ways, the map was top-down and the rest was first person. It was a very intriging game. although the monsters respawn too fast and some were very tough.

It was made by a very small team with a very small budget so the poor graphics are understandable. I really like how everything from the town to the dungeons to the quests are random each time. I'll probably give it a look once the full game is released.
