alternative to controlling mouse pointer by hand?
Just wondering. recently I noticed that my wrist in my mouse hand is getting pains from using the computer (effects of aging, bad eating, lack of excercise, stress I guess
I want to keep that hand relax for a while and see if it heals. I know I've seen a device from OCZ that kinda strap to your head and you move the mouse pointer that way.
is there anything that you guys can recommend?

Do you have one of those mouse pads with the wrist rest on it? I've found it makes a huge difference for me. Got one at work and at home. Maybe try taking 5 minutes breaks every hour? It sounds good in theory, but I usually dont' do it.

Trackball or Apple Magic Trackpad. There are some other options that dont involve manipulating the cursor with your feet or your head but honestly they're just not very good at this point.
Personally I felt the onset of carpal tunnel a few years ago, and my solution was to switch to a laptop and just use the trackpad. It's worked so far.

What I have done at work is force myself to be ambidextrous... I use left hand with the mouse for my Linux workstation and right hand for laptop mouse
