Need a neon case light, point me in the right direction

One preferably from newegg. I'm not sure what the difference between a neon light and a cathode is, so can someone please explain.

get a cathode tube. they run cooler. that is the main reason for them over neons. as far as which one to get, that is really up to you, i would say a cathode is a cathode, some people would disagree, but i would say get the one you can afford dont spend a ton of money on it.

Well newegg has only two brands in. Not all cathodes are as bright as each other. I got two of the generic ones fro CompUSA and they certainly are not the brightest CC's around; the fact that I got two balances that out though.

I'd look into getting the cold cathode's from http://www.svcompucycle.com/

I just recently recieved one of thier new 12" blue cold cathode's with a dual inverter, so you can connect two of them if you'd like, and it's very bright and looks sweet. It was around $20 shipped - go for it
