Winzip problems

When i create a self.exe winzip doesn't create the folders to contain the files for me,it jus extracts every single file and dump it in the folder i extract i into.it used to be able to automatically create folders for files like Half-Life mods.Now i can't access new mods i downloaded because of this

Use winrar. It extracts it into the proper folders. It IS SOOOOOOOO much better! www.rarsoft.com

do you mean you can't specify what folder to extract to when the exe is run, or you can't make subfolders within the exe?
