Foobar 1.0 beta released! (after 7 years)

This has to beat any of the Google multi-year beta programs.

Believe it or not, almost 7 years after its initial release, the Foobar2000 v1.0 Beta is finally out, and with it comes a large list of changes. Most of them are much-needed interface fixes, but there is the welcome addition of built-in support for the streaming of Windows Media formats (ASX/MMS/RTSP). Other than that, it's much of the same.
I don't use it, I use WMP, but I know many of you do so maybe this is relevant.
There is the theory of the moebius. A twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop.

I still use Foobar part time, but it's interface really needs a re-do. The other half of the time I use Songbird or Mediamonkey depending on the machine.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Foobar is my music player of choice, but really isn't usable without half a dozen plugins and some tedious scripting/formatting, at least not for a large collection. I've been using 0.9.4.1 for quite a while and will likely stick here until all of the plugins I use are updated. It was 6 months or better before I switched from 0.8.9 to 0.9.X for the same reason. It's quite powerful, but some assembly is required
