    Post geforce4 agp x8 what agp 8x mobo are ? none? gforce4 not agp 8x ?all hype?

    supposidly geforce 4 will be agp x8, but i dont know any agp 8x mobo's even from what i read about from diffrent placesm it said that the upcoming kt333 chipset will only be agp x4 and that only kt333a will be agp 8x and the upcoming sis 745 also is not agp 8x,
    so whats agp x8 nothing which leaves me think geforce 4 wont be agp x8

    couse big rumors are flying high these days saying geforce4 will be announced in earily feburary

    just because the gf 4 will be agp 8x doesnt mean it has to run on a 8x mobo, it most likely is backwards compatible, like everything else.

    there's a difference between something being "announced" and being "released". I believe that his post said that it was supossed to be "announced" in February. Though as far as the AGP 8X, etc., goes...we'll just have to wait and see.
