Post Cheap ram or good ram?

Cheap Ram or good ram that is the question for you...

I can get a stick of kingston Value 128mb PC-133 CL-3 for $50!!! but I was already planning on buying the Crucial pc133 cl-2 for $92... I am going to be having a T-bird 1.1ghz (already overclocked)and Abit KT7. Should I get 384mb value ram for $150 for 256 great ram for $184???

Also.. PCI or AGP for video card.. does it really matter? I'm getting a Voodoo 5500.

hmmm, thats a hard one, what it all comes down to is, are you willing to take chances that the Kingston won't work, even though I bet that it will work, you can never have a guarentee with it.

EDIT: Now that I have thought a bit more I would say go with the Crucial, you might not use any of that extra 128MB, but there will be an increase with CAS2 over CAS3.

if you're running win2k you might like the 384 better. for win2k 256 is equal to win98 on 128. 384 on win2k is like 256 on win 98. anywho kingston isnt TOO bad. if on win98 id say 256 high quality though.

For what it is worth I am running 256 of Kingston with no problems. I went for the great price. Figured I could always return it if it didn't work. Though with web purchases it is somewhat more difficult. If you aren't in a pinch Crucial is pretty much guaranteed from what I can tell.
