    Smile Olympus C-50...how is it?

i saw this little baby at costco, and it costs 600 big ones!! i understand that it's 5 megapixels and is super compact, but is there anywhere else that sells it for cheaper, or is this camera not worth it?

    pros and cons?

I dunno, other than the 5 megapixels which is overkill unless you're making big prints, like 11 x 14s I would say I'd rather go with the canon s40 or something. In canada that thing's 900 dollars, and the s40 is 800. The s40 stats are a lot better, better sensitivity, faster shutter speed, better continuous shooting. They're both metal body and stuff. I'd say it's not worth it, though I don't know about your american prices. How much can you get an s40 for? Hehe, if that olympus was 600 here, that'd be awsome.

edit: Even 4.0 megapixels should take 11x14s. I've never tried it mind you and those camera companies are prone to lying. Because some of them say 2 megapixel cameras can take 4x6s flawlessly, yet I can still see pixels in them.
