Cant get g4mx to work with any detonator driver

    Abit Suilaro Geforce4 440mx,
Abit KT7 (i think.. been a long time since i bought it) motherboard with a Athlon t-bird 1.4ghz,
Sound blaster live platium 5.1 w/ live drive connected
    NIC,
and a ATI tv card running on windows xp

I had this problem with windows 98, ME and XP, basicly, the drivers that came with the card and that i get off a-bits website work, they never crash, but, some games they are _horribly_ slow on. Dosnt matter if i put the resolition up, turn options on or scale them down, its still just as slow.. if i install any version of the detonator drivers, things look great, smooth as silk, none of the games have speed issues, but the computer crashes every 10 seconds to 2 minutes when running a game. (Everquest, Unreal 2, just about anything)

Has there been something wrong with my card from the start? is there maby a bios setting thats screwed up? Ive tried with every version of the detonators that i can find, but still no luck =( I had this same problem with my Guillemont maxi gamer xentor 32 (tnt2ultra)

The only thing I can think of is that the ATI drivers are conflicting with Nvidia drivers, but the ATI harware is not a video card so I don't see how that could be a problem. Take out the TV card, remove ALL of the drivers for it, and see if that helps.

    1) Set ur BIOS to AGP 4x
    2) Turn FastWrites off if you can
    3) Do you have latest Via 4in1's ? aka Hyperion
    4) Reinstall XP with nothing in there but the Video Card
    5) Get a real video card

P.S. - It is best to install them on a clean format right after first boot before installing drivers for all your cards and installing apps.
