    Awesome! I found a cool nForce3 mobo in stock too but no Abit's and 2 of the 3 I found are out of stock. Anyone know the best one for the Athlon 64?

    I have no idea, although a common theme in the A64 reviews has been that the VIA offering for the A64 is as good or better than the NForce3 - I'd look at those too.

    actually, mwave has the A64 3200 for cheaper than newegg.

    C'mon Colossus. You know better than to pull that 'only Intel can charge a premium for a super-fast chip' nonsense. This is 2003, not 1993. If the AMD chip kicks ***, then it can fetch a big premium. End of story.

    but you've seen the performance numbers...the A64 FX51 pwns the 3.2C a lot of the time.

    The P4EE proccies are a whole 'nother deal though. That L3 really helps!

    AMD targeted their prices of the A64 for the EEs. The A64 is the better chip.

    That's a beastly Q3A score the EE can get with that L3 cache though!
