I had almost the same problem with my ram/cpu. I could not hit over 200FSB in dual channel, when i switched to single channel I could hit like 215. Now that I got new ram (in sig) I can hit 233fsb which i am 100% stable at right now.

It should be noted that single channel and dual channel on amd boards really has no difference.

Maybe, but it feels dirty to let a feature go unused, even if the gains are marginal.

Gotta love AMD, 1/2 the money, 2x the work for 19/20ths the speed.

Try the d10 bios, *might* help, who knows. Have you tried running memtest to see if its your memory/chipset? Loop test 5 for a while. That's how I determine my max fsb :| Although right now its a tad frustrating...

I was actually in the middle of typing a reply earlier suggesting this BIOS when my connection died, then I went out for a few 21st birthday beers Since you're using SATA (I replied to your post in General Hardware) you'll need the hacked version with SATA corruption issues fixed. PM me and I'll email it to you if you want

But if you push the fsb up another 15 mhz you more then make up for not using DC

    Cool cool

the northbridge with one of several aftermarket heatsink/fan combos, add ramsinks to the moffets, no volt mods and you will get to higher FSB speeds easy.

MicroCool comes to mind for the Northbridge.

my sig is everyday, the Northbridge cooler mentioned above, and the ramsinks made it possible without having to get better ram.

    good luck.

Are you stable in everything besides Prime?

If you can play games fine...screw whatever Prime says.

umm. no its a bit unstable, and i can't run dual channel.. for some reason my ram won't work in dimm3.. i think i got a faulty board.. but i dont' wanna RMA it and wait for a new one.. umm.. i guess i'll just run 200mhz and just kick up the mhz.. cuz i'm running 3200+ speeds right now.. and i feel smooth as a babies bottom.. no point in making it faster.. (at this moment)
