    Unhappy Men of Valor Review

6.8/10 kind of disappointing coming from the MOH developers.

That's too bad. I was looking forward to that one, epsecially as you pointed out that it's from the MoH folks.

I'll have to read some reviews on it later. I dowloaded the MP demo and didn't like it. Felt too cartoon-ish for me.

For me, CoD and MoH set the standard for FPS WWII games. I have a hard time with anything drastically different than those. Maybe it's the engines that those games use? I bought Battlefield 1942 GOTY a few months ago with high expectations and I absolutely hated it. Couldn't play for more than an hour before I put it back in the box. Waste of $$ for me.

I am overly sick of war games right now, after playing United Offensive, which was hard to get going at first, but it got better, but I am just tired of them. I gave up on the Vietcong games and I wasn't into Battlefield much either. I like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor and I will get Pacific Assault but probably when its gets a bit cheaper....I thought Breakthrough was a bit of a disappointment.

Agreed I am sure we will see games based off of Korea, Cold War, and probably Desert Storm too. Eventually anyways. I hope they hold off, war games are making me sick.

We need more futuristic shooters where you fight an entire alien/demon army that got transported to your location by way of a scientific portal experiment gone terribly wrong in which you have to single handedly close!!

Is this game not out yet? I've had it for like two weeks now. Haha, yeah, I love my modded Xbox.

We've already seen games based on the Cold War (Operation Flashpoint), and Desert Storm (Conflict: Desert Storm).

but that doesn't mean we can't have 20 more games about them each one will proclaim to be more realistic than the next...I'm kinda hoping for some wide scale futuristic battle...something that has no historic reference think like a futuristic battlefield 1942 without the crappiness

Like a Starcraft version of BF1942, if they made that work that game would own.

I'm also sick of all these war time games.

I cleared RTCW and played some of MOH and 30% through COD.

I don't really seen any sense in playing more war time games. (tho I've never played bf942 or the vietnam them games)

It seems there's nothing new. nazi, tanks, bombs.

I was always into Sci-fi FPS like HalfLife. at lease you get to see creative landscapes, creatures and weapons.

funny as much as I like SciFi FPS and dont' really care for realistic/war/modern fps. I do like MOdern War RTS. .. (only RTS I play is Command & Conquer series)

Nothing is more satisifying than in C&C Generals. Ravaging an enemy civilian city with Nuclear missiles and Particle cannons.

It seems like all FPS's nowadays are centered either around war or space... With the exception of Xen, I hope HL2'll be a breath of fresh air.

i love anything that has to do with ww2. many people like return to castle wolfenstein but i did not think it was all that great. battlefield 1942 was good in my opinion. CoD was the best game ever to be invented by mankind! MOHAA is up their in the ranks but yes...breakthrough was a huge dissapointment...way to short and not enough tanks and such they need more massively multiplayer games that dont require $3000 gaming rigs to play at low settings. i enjoy were you can team up in vehicles and stuff like in ut2k4...i gotta try out tribes vengence!
