I installed Norton System Works 2003 on my parents computer. The install got messed up and then it said to do it again. So I did it again, and every time it gets halfway through the install, it says to insert the Norton Anti Virus disc, which I do not have and have never had. So I want it gone, and I am going to install PC Cillin again. I go to install PC Cillin and the computer says that Norton is still on the system and I need to uninstall it first. Norton is not running at all so I do a search. It is on my C drive but I cannot uninstall it through the program in the control panel. I cannot click and drag the norton folder to the trash either. So I am stuck, I cannot get rid of Norton and I cannot get PC Cillin back on. How can I get these folders of Norton off of my C drive permanently? I need a virus program, but cannot get one till Norton is gone. Any suggestions.
