WTB: K6-2 Around 500mhz + 32/64mb SODIMM

Just got a new laptop today. It has a "chomper" core, K6-2 360mhz processor. Socket 7. I'd like to replace it with something a little faster. I'd like something around 500mhz.

This laptop has 32mb of RAM. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking it's PC100, or atleast PC66. Would it be EDO RAM? I'd like another stick of 32, or 64mb of it, whatever you think it would be. I'm hoping EDO doesn't fit in the SODIMM slot.

Will ya send me your old one if I tell you where you can get a $16 500 mhz chomper K62?? Newegg has 'em....sure could use the 360 for one of 5 donor builds doing right now...LMK!

I'll keep you in mind if I get rid of this chip. The 500mhz one on newegg is 5x100, and it'll go down to 5x66 in my board I think, which will be less than I have now, so I'm trying to find the fastest 66FSB one now. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, it is in fact SDRAM, and supports upto 128mb on a stick.

For 66 fsb you would need a 7.5 or 8 multiplier. I doubt that exists. The K62's at 100 fsb maxed at 5.5 multiplier. Never heard that a 66 would use a 7 or 8.
