They are industry leaders in their area of Windows expertise - system internals and how Windows actually works. I've attended many of Mark Russinovich's lectures.

One of the best Windows reference books is Windows Internals Fourth Edition by Mark E. Russinovich and David A. Soloman.

Mark was one of the founders of Winternals and Sysinternals.
