    Rune Factory

Yeah, I love this game. Its Harvest Moon with a battle system and RPG elements and its just fun as hell.

For those of you who are playing -

    1) Have you found the hammer yet? I'm guessing its a prize for completing the first cave but I'm still not strong enough to get through it yet.
    2) Is there any way to know the forecast in this one? In previous games you'd just turn on the TV, but of course, there is no TV in this one. I ask because I'd want to spend a night camped out in the cave on a day before it rains so I don't worry about rushing back and watering my crops.
    3) How do you capture monsters?

And there's also this crop trading aspect that lets you level up crops far beyond what you can do on your own, so if anyone gets any level 10 crops, be sure to start trading around

(In case you don't know yet, crops and fish have a level marker. You level up your crops by fertilizing them and the max you can get on your own is 10, and 100 through trading. The sale formula is [base price x level] so a crop that will normally give you 50g will net 5000g at lv100.)

Okay, after beating the first cave I went and talked to people around town - the blacksmith gave me the hammer and the maid gave me a glove that lets me befriend monsters. The blacksmith also got an expanded inventory now, giving me access to some new weapons that I can't afford yet. I don't think I'm going to be able to really venture into the second cave until Summer, I'm focusing on building up my funds and upgrading all my starting tools until then.

Kama is actually a pair of twins that mind meld every evening to share the day's experiences.

    8-10:30pm: Get home, eat
    11pm-6am: Free time

Hmmm, your schedule is flawed. Awaken at 12 - 2 in the afternoon, then work from 12:30 to 2:30, and then you're home at 8...

    ***? lol

Yea but you don't have school Once I go into clinical rotation and get a real job my schedule will become AWESOMENESS!!! I will work 3 days a week, 12 hours a day (7pm-7am or vice versa), and then have 4 days off. That will be SWEET.

I think he meant he goes to work anytime between 12:30-2:30 and works until 8-10:30... varies w/ the day.

Ah indeed. My bad, I'm currently suffering from just-wake-up-brain-deficiency-disorder.
