My review on the FOP-38 and Blizzard case!

As some of you may know I bought the FOP-38 and Artic Silver with a Blizzard case(an updated Tornado 1000).

The second I pushed the power button, my whole world changed around! I was using a crappy Asus T-5a case with a CoolerMaster hsf and it was moderate in noise level. But this thing sounded like a jet plane gonna left off or something.

After a while I got used to it though, and it doesn't seem to distract me, but for my parents, well that another story.

My cpu temp was as follows with the T-5a case and CoolerMaster:

Idle 95-103F
Full 118-139F+ anything over that would crash automatically

That was crazy!

Now with this beast:

Idle 68-69F
Full 84F!!!

WOW!

Also this is WITHOUT the Artic Silver! They sent me the 2 piece setup type which I will be sending back and getting the compound.

Specs:

1.1ghz not o/c on a FOP-38 with cheapo grease
IWill KV200-R
and I'm sure most of you know my specs anyway...

In closing I would just like to say that this is one kick *** combo! I would highly recommand this case, but it is VERY loud with the GlobalWin 38. The case comes with a 330w E. whisper PSU, 3X 120mm fans, for $160, not bad.

Also what do you guys think my temp will be after the Artic Silver will go on? I mean my room temp is about 72F(upstairs). And the case temp is already 71-72F, hehe.

Check your original thread regarding the arctic silver issue Soldier. Might have an easier alternative for you.
