    Smile Question about how to test Microphone and Webcam

    hello anyone!!! I need help on something. Do ya know how to test the Microphone see if it works or not. Is there any software to test the Microphone. Also, how to test the Webcam is working or not. Is there any software to test the Webcam c if it works or not!!!!

    Microphone..

    Click on the speaker icon in the task bar..

    Go to options, properties, select recording then click OK.

    You'll now see your recording sources on the screen. Make sure microphone is selected and adjust the slider all the way up.

    Run Sound Recorder, make a test recording and play back. If you hear it it works

    Webcam..

    Make sure the drivers for the cam are installed and then run Microsoft NETMEETING (you may have to install it off the windows CD). You should be able to get a pic from that.

    You can do all the stuff that Adishar suggested or you can dl a prog called ISPQ, which is a fairly good webcam program that allows you to talk to other people with web cams/mics...

    Hey is it just me, or does netmeeting not work w/ XP? I tried netmeeting that came w/ my webcam, and said it didnt support xp
    XPS 400, quit the comp. scene. My new toy:
