133 mhz memory not working together with 100 mhz memory on MSI K7Tturbo?

    I have 2 128 MB DIMM's on my motherboard...
    Those are 100 Mhz
So I want to add a 256 MB module, but it's 133 mhz!
    It seems this means trouble...
    Is that normal?
Maybe it's because of the different speed!
Can I change the speed, so all memory operate at 100 mzh?

    Tnx

Not 100% sure but this is what I think you need to do.

First put only the stick of pc100 in. O/C it to 133 (through bios or dip switches on mobo, refer to manual).

After that put the second stick of ram in, that being the pc133 stick. This should solve your issue.

    I don't get it, sorry!

Just like I said. Your mobo has "pins" which are used to change cirtain settings, if I lost you here it's hopeless.

You must set it to 133 mode instead of 100. It shows this in the manual. If you were to actaully read it, you'd have no problems.

    first this:
I have an Athlon 100 running at 133 mhz FSB!

The only settings I can change in the bios, is the SDRAM speed, only two settings available though: 'host clock' & '66 mhz'
Id it is on 'Host clock' (which means 133 mhz) it crashes! Could it help to put this to 66 mhz (probably slower, but...)
In fact what i need is a 100 mhz setting, allright?

    Gert
