Post GeForce owners who Play Unreal Tournament!

Hey. I have a new GeForce card. I have had it for a month or so, and I notice that it doesn't handle Unreal Tournament as well as my old Voodoo3 2000 did. I guess that's because Nvidia cards don't use glide. Has anyone had experiences with this? Does anyone know a way to make UT run better? Thanks.

First Question, are you using a Geforce 1 or a Geforce 2, and which type of card (SDR, DDR, MX, PRO, Ultra)..

I've had no problem running UT with my Geforce 2 Ultra, I play in D3D at 1024x768 with FSAA at 4x. I don't have any slow downs and it looks great. Try getting the latest Nvidia drivers and updates for UT.

I have a GeForce2 GTS. Why don't you just ask me all the questions at once. (Don't mean to scare you off if you are going to help)
I have the most solid Nvidia drivers 6.34
I have the latest version of Unreal Tournament

I got those drivers and I see lots of Artifacts (like whole pieces of wall missing) and the framerate goes to he!l after a few minutes of online play.

I don't know if there is a fix to this problem. However, the official drivers released by Epic are available and they use DirectX 8.0 (which I have. . . duh)

    Thumbs up

I Have A Geforce 2 GTS Pure 64 Meg and I run Unreal Tournement in OpenGl With compressed textures at 1600 x 1200 32 bit. It runs like a dream. Never had a problem personally. But if anyone that had a Via Chipset on there Main Board and have lock up with D3D Games, try updating your Main Board Drivers. I recommend the new Via 4 In 1 Drivers. Usually fixes all the lock up Prob's.

I find that my geForce2 runs better in UT than my old V3 3000. I run it at 1024x768x32at the highest settings for everything and I get a average of 80 fps on the time demo.

How do you run the time demo in UT? I've seen posts on how to do it in Quake but not UT. Thanks.
