So I'm looking to upgrade my DELL. It uses the 1156LGA platform. I read that the laptop versions of CPU's are set to use less power and stay cooler. I'm not too concerned about power and battery life. I'm more concerned about the laptop overheating and catching fire. Can I use the standard 1156 quad core cpu or should I stick with the mobile version?
