I'm thinking of getting a Linksys router for my cable modem and 2 pcs. The thing is recently I bought a hub and a second NIC for this computer (hub was used over summer for 3 pcs, now used because of lack of crossover cable to hook the 2nd comp up throught my 2nd NIC). I really don't want to have to have the one on for the other to access the net, this is why I want the router (and the firewall stuff ain't so bad either.)

If I got the 4 port, I could eliminate the hub and the 2nd NIC. If I got the 1 port, I could eliminate the 2nd NIC, and then plug the hub into the router.

My question is, what do you think would be more worth it? Getting the four port and then having a hub and a NIC to go to waste (or maybe sell). Or should I save about $50 and just get a 1 port and plug the hub into it?

Thanks.
