question,on my limited user accounts I can't get GTA2 to open says (unable to create registry key), but the game was never installed so it''s not even in the registry.
when I'm on administrator I don't have this problem

also I created a C:\temp folder and now I can't acces it sayss access denied I Wanted to delete it or at least access it how do I get arount this thanks.this problem also applys as a administrator

Some games will work without registry entries (ex. if you had the game on a seperate partition then the OS and you formatted and reinstalled the OS) but when you go and run the game it will recreate some the entries.

the reason gta2 won't work is because you HAVE to install it, because it needs registry entries to run.

because when you are in limited then you are not allowed to access or change the reg. Thats why when you in admin it works.

I changed other user to admin and same problem I never installed the game before and it worked find even under other users with limited accounts this problem just came up all of a sudden. I even ran regcleaner and still same problem. WinXP is getting annoying more problems then what's it worth.

Just install GTA2 into a shared folder using an administrator account so everyone can use it.
