nvidia drivers XP Pro problems

I have a nVidia TNT2 32MB card. I am using DVI out. I downloaded and installed the latest nvidia drivers Win2K-XP_23.11. When I installed it Windows said it was not on the HCL, I installed it anyway and the screen went black and a the yellow light came up on the monitor LCD.
I am running WinXP Pro. Any suggestions?

the problem is that Nvidia Refrence drivers stopped supporting TNT2 chips... http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=pg_20010606588572
go here and d/l the OS/2 drivers..

Thanks for the info. Why the Os/2 driver? Will this be compatible with Open GL? Should I bother with this or just go ahead and get my new card. I am planning on getting a new video card, probably a Radeon 8500 or NVidia GeForce 3. I need a card with DVI out. Thanks!
