Did you just delete a post of mine?
I did not say anything offensive, but rather some things that needed to be said. If you did not read the contents, then you are pushing your authority without due process.
I ask that you repost my subject for the benefit of another member. I have been a long time member of this board, and there is no reason to harrass me.
TIA.

It also took me a long time to write the response in question. I have it saved to my hard drive, and ready to post again if I do not hear a response. And please don't cut and paste from the rules. I am well aware of forum policy, though my position is that my post did not cross any lines. The moderator can either discuss the situation with me like an adult, or repost the message with no questions asked. It is not an unreasonable request from a long time member who has always followed forum policy.

I assume you mean the thread entitled "KJY9, after being so rudely interrupted...", which is not "deleted" by the way. I don't want to step on any toes here by bringing it back. It would probably be better if you e-mail it to KJY9
If your sig is longer than your post then type more.

What do you mean "step on toes"? Is there something political going on behind Sharky Forums? And what's this I hear about KJY9 being banned? I did not request this, nor do I feel that it was warranted. What I see here is a classic case of over-moderation, and if I recall, that's the first reason I left this forum to begin with. If you cannot let people have a different opinion, then there is no need for a discussion forum. I see one or two long term intelligent people still remaining, and I'm guessing it's because they get special treatment. Over-moderation does a good job of chasing the rest of the intelligent folk out, and all you get is the same boring, repetitive chatter. Just think about the wealth of information one can get out of a forum for CPUs and overclocking. Some people have years of inside experience into these matters, but who in their right mind is going to put up with rules that treat you like you're a 12 year old. The only people capable of tolerating that are 12 year olds, and that's what you will get as forum members if over-moderation continues. Forum rules are meant to prevent anarchy, not passionate discussions.

I respect the other moderators decision for closing/removing posts, I'm not going to disrespect them by undoing something they did.
As for KJY9 being banned it's been a while coming and I guess it was felt now was the time.
As for over-moderation, some mods are more strick than others, we all have our interpratation of what we consider are breaking the rules, it would be nice if everythimg was black and white, but it's grey

W T F?!?!
He was banned? Why was he banned? And I dont want you to copy and paste their previous thread, because I already read it twice... and there was no reason to ban him because of it. Also... what do you mean by this... "...It's been a while coming..." Were you guys already planning on banning him or what?
I cant believe this! Have the moderators been in a diffrent world for the past 6 months?!?!? I mean... no one, and I repeat, no one helps out more in this forum when it comes to overclocking. KJY9 is the most helpfull, and the most experienced aswell, he has done it all, AMD's, and Intel's. I dont know if anyone was jealous of him or something, for taking the OC'in crown or something, because we can all tell that he had all the little guys and future OC'ers on his side, because he always helped out. That possibly got the other big OC'ers mad because he was taking the crown. I dont know, I just dont think it was fair for him to be banned. I guess maybe someone figures that with him gone, maybe we can have another OC king... but I dont think so .
BTW, MuiseJT, the second part of this post was not directed towards you personally. But to the whole forums.

I guess you can not tell us why KJY9 was banned. I am not sure I would evn want to know. I do not read every post like a moderator but KJY9 has added allot to this site. I just want to voice my support for him. He has helped allot of people out of jams. I have even seen him do the Mobo reseach for someone that was having real problems. Sure from time to time he would rag on people but that was people that put almost no effort into figuring out what was wrong on their own. I always felt if miss-information was posted on a P4 KJY9 would let us know and Saps for AMD. That just been my opinion in my short time here.
I would think once KJY9 find out or is told he is banned he will simply erase sharkys from his favorites and that will be the end of all that knowledge he has to help us noobs. To bad

For some who has been here so sparcely over the last six months you're not in a position to speak on these matters. Its clear your quite ignorant of just exactly why people are getting and deserving explusions. If you don't like it here no one is forcing you to stay. I agree about the wealth of information one can get out of a forum for CPUs and overclocking. That's why myself and most people in here are in here. But since this thread has nothing to add to the wealth of information about CPU's and OCing we have nothing else to say.
