    Logitech Cordless Freedom

I have this wireless set of keyboard and mouse called "Logitech cordless freedom". I didn't have any problems regarding this set for over a year, but month ago by cordless devices began acting strange. Every 2 or 3 days (not very often) the cordless devices seem to loose their location. They just stop working. I try pressing those "Connect" buttons but that doesn't help too. After switching mouse to PS/2 and back to USB mouse sometimes start working. But doing this sometimes is a big waste of time. Why does that happen?

    ?

Well it wasn't batteries - I have changed them quite recently and I didn't get any "Battery level is low" type messages, that I used to get.

well i hate to say it, but really there's no specific way to troubleshoot a keyboard and mouse. It could just be bad... try it on another computer, maybe that's messing it up... other than that... *shrug*

Try a different USB port if you have one.

uninstall the drivers and reinstall the latest drivers.
If problem continues, trouble shoot around the company website, and then call them up if you're still having problems (time to get a new set??)

Logitech doesn't recommend using the USB connection for the mouse. Does the keyboard have problems too? If they both have problems it may be a bad reciever. Definately contact Tech Support as it will take them some time to respond.
