yeah, you can paint the faceplate whatever color you wish...all you have to do is simply take it off and paint it...

I would highly suggest a VINYL DYE rather than paint. You can find viynl dye in Specialty Auto Stores like Summit Auto Racing http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=7844

One can costs $7.99USD and will dye many drive bay bezels.

It will leave behind all the detail on whatever you dye. It will not caot it but sink in to the plastic, It dries quick and matches exactly (BLACK DOES ANYWAY) all current case vinyls.

i painted the faceplates on mine with spray paint, it looked good.

One note: Mask off around where the cd-rom tray comes out, if you dont it will either not go back in right, or will get stuck and will have a hard time coming out.

Stealth your drives, looks alot better and is really sexy... Also, if your case is aluminum then you can buy aluminum faceplates at a lot of places. Black usually looks good with whatever case you have ne ways, may just be ezer to get that.

I like the stealth idea but I am not a very handy man, my dvd is a pioneer slot version, I have been searching for a place where they sell the plates or a new dvd and a writer. if anyone knows of any
