    Memory Problem

I am at my wits end with my system. I know the hardware I have should OC a bit better. I have a couple of questions and I would really appreciate some help. My system is:

    Abit IC7-G Bios #16
    P4 2.4C
    Ati 9800 Pro
    TwinMos PC3200 2X256 (ch5)
    DVD-RW, CDRW and CD-ROM
    1 80Gb Maxtar ATA 133
    Watercooled CPU, GPU and NB
    6 Case Fans, 3X120mm, 3X80mm
That's about all I can think of that's sucking power

#1 I am unable to boot into windows above a 267 fsb when using dual channel mode on my ram. I can however boot into windows with a fsb of 283 when in single channel mode. Doesn't matter what timings, or divider i use. I have the voltage maxed out for my board at 2.8. What do you guys think is causing this? Should I buy some better ram, or do you think this is a MB issue?

#2 I am not to knowlegable when it comes to power supplies. My question is about my 12V rail. Most of the time it sits at 11.80-1185, Is this too low and indicating I have a problem with my PS?

Please help me out. I would really like to take my 2.4C to 3.5

    A quote from OCZ:

In general, the Intel 875 and 865 motherboards would give memory hard time to run in async mode to reach its rated speed than in sync mode. Based on our test, the higher the CPU/DRAM ratio is, the tougher the memory can run.
So I'd assume it's due the the nature of the chipset, but in your case, I'd say it's the RAM. CH5 RAM is notorious for its compatability issues with the 865/875 platforms when overclocking.

But that little message is something you can keep in mind.

yeah I have seriously been considering taking the pluge and buying some high end ram. Maybe some OCZ, or Corsair PC3700. I would hate to lay out 200 bucks and find out my board is my problem. I guess I won't know until I buy the ram.

I don't really follow the Intel side that much, but is that another HyperX/nforce situation???? Just curious......
