    Half life 2 DX 9 question

    Simple, will there be option to run it in FULL DX9 mode, or FULL DX 8.1 mode? I want to know if there will be an option so I can run the game using entirely DX9 effects, and if it will be completely DX 9 stuff.

    Yup. B/C if I remember correctly, I saw when website posted Benchmarks the 9500/9600/9700/9800 all ran full Direct X9. Also the Nvidia FX line did, but not very good. So They have a Mixed mode. Which uses Direct X8/9 And The GF4 can run full Direct X8.
