Tiger Shark
New Printer
I currently have an HP Deskjet 722c (POS!!!!!). I wanna get a new NON-HP inkjet color printer that is fairly fast. I do not want to spend more than 100$ on it. Can people reccomend some other brands than HP and models that are good. thanx!

Great White Shark
I had an HP 722c for a while, I didn't think it was bad at all.
-edit- Just checked zdnet, users gave it a 9 out of 10 review
No suggestions, sorry...

I wouldn't be so fast to write off hp inkjets. I prefer them over any other brand. Maybe you just got a lemon???

If you can carve up about $100 more, get a Lexmark Optra E312L at Costco. I bought mine there, and it is an excellent printer - it turns out that Lexmark is packaging the E312 inside the E312L boxes, so you can get a printer with PCL6 and PS2 support for under $200. Highly recommended.
