How do i recover the inbox

My buddy lost his inbox in his outlook express and isn't able to recover it. The files for outlook express is still present but not accessible.

Any ideas?

he is missing the entire inbox folder and they are using norton instead

If the 'inbox.mbx' file is still present on the hard drive, but the Inbox does not show in Outlook Express, then I think you need to reinstall Outlook Express, which is part of the Internet Explorer installation.

I had a friend with the same problem, I used System Restore.

Hope he's using winXP
