The Secret of Monkey Island (first game)
    Monkey Island 2: Lechuck's Revenge
    The Curse of Monkey Island
    Escape from Monkey Island

The first two games out of print and very hard to find...on ebay they go for around $50 or so..
Or you can *cough* download them *cough* from P2P or something.
The other two games are pretty easy to find.
I know PC Gamer magazine about 4-5 years ago released a CD with one of their print issues that had the full version of Monkey Island 1 on it.

If the girl likes the Monkey Island series, she is definitely a keeper. Shows she has superior taste in humor.

Unfortunately, The Secret of Monkey Island (MI1) and Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck's Revenge are not abandonware yet, but you can't buy them through Lucasarts anymore either.

I don't normally condone this kind of thing, but your best bet would be to get it through p2p/torrent/irc.

That being said, they are also in LucasaArts Archives Vol. III and a compendium called "Monkey Madness." But alas, people are selling them used for about $100+.

The Curse of Monkey Island (MI3) and Escape from Monkey Island (MI4) can be found easily in almost any game store and well worth the $9.99(MI3) and $19.99(MI4). Please don't pirate these as the game developers still get money from their sales as they have not been discontinued yet.

Also, you'll need ScummVM to play the first two and possibly the third.

    Check this out...
a while back I found a used copy of Monkey Island Madness bundled with Monkey Island 3...it was in the Monkey Island 3 jewel case, when I was looking at the case I noticed there was an extra cd and when I pried open the case (it was supposed to be taped shut!) I saw it was Monkey Madness.
    It was selling for $3!
I bought and then turned around and sold it on ebay for $50, since I already had copies of all three games.
    That was hella sweet!

You have a definite keeper there, your girl has very good taste. I really enjoyed escape from Monkey Island. But many found it short, I know I did. Good luck, your best bet really seems like ebay.

Edit: Ahem, its easy to find the Monkey Island Series in Asia, namely Singapore. They sell them in white CD cases, titled EA classics. Sorry Dude, I may live there but I don't Fedex. Its ~9 USD though.

Rofl, no prob. But I won't count on Sim Lim having it. You would have a better chance at Challenger in Funan Square or the neighbourhood Harvey Norman. IF you intend to visit the heartlands. What I do know is that they Sell Monkey Island 2 and Escape from Monkey Island in the Hougang branch. Sorry if it sounds misleading but the last time I saw them titles was about 3 months ago. Good luck.

Edit: You might need to go bargain binning. But seriously they only have about 3 titles at a time in a single bin. So don't count on it.

Remember EA classics, white CD case. Doesn't come in box, its repackaged.
