Yes. I paid 519, so with shipping it is like 150.

I got my BFG 8800GTX from Newegg on Friday, and I love it. I moved up from 7800GT SLI, and I'm am actually surprised how much faster it is. I mean, I knew it was faster, but seriously.... I'm impressed.

I'm pretty much 100% BF2 (until Crysis comes out), and I went from 1600x1200, with everything on Medium, 8xAniso and no AA at about 70 FPS, and now I run it with everything on high and 8xAA and I have no idea how many FPS Im getting because the counter stops at 99.9 FPS lol!

which is better the 7950GX2 or the 8800? You see my brother just bought the x2 for $700 CAD, it had 1024 mb of ram and it was like two video cards screwed together.

A single 8800 is going to be the better card in the long run.

Long run, short run, whatever run you want, it's better. The 8800GTX at least....

how about the coming ATI R600?

I read somewhere it is clocked at 800MHZ the GPU

and it wil have 128 shaders also and a blazing 64 pixel shaders

now comparing this to the G80 GTX , well we have 200mhz more in GPU only, plus the 64 pipe...

and yes 65 process too , and 3 cross fire cards possibility without any crossfire cables , just plug the cards and run all slaves no need for cross fire master card anymore (using new coming chipset)

do u think ATI will win this round also?

I am waiting for ATI and VISTA release to decide

The R600 isn't out until February, this round is over and G80 wins. Come Feb though, I think its going to be all ATI. The G80 has the jump but I think the R600 will be the better technology in the long run.
