Question Screensaver for extended desktop window

I have an extended desktop. The problem is that I often use only one monitor while the other display is an unused window for hours. How can I keep a screensaver running on one monitor while I use the other? I would think you'd need a screensaver app that runs in a window..

Why not just shut the other monitor off if it's not used for hours at a time?
