Stomping is a big word, the 580 is winning but not by that much. If I had to buy a card

this day it would be a 7950 over a 580. Even for bf3. It is a superior architecture(newer) that probably will scale better with future titles.

It will be interesting to see how the expansions pack will benchark in about 4 month time.

Knowing that Kepler is almost here, I would wait.
