how can i undo an update for my iPod Touch (3rd gen)

when i dock my iPod to my Onkyo receiver, the stock Music app wont work correctly anymore, and i get a "Accessory Connected" message on the screen (never seen that before). when i undock it, the Music app works fine, no message

so, im troubleshooting, and since i just did a bunch of updates for my iPod Touch, im hoping this will fix it

my current iOS is 5.1.1

lol. nah, i like my iPod Touch. i tried restoring it, that didnt work. but i must of tweaked a setting on my Onkyo, because it works now
