Windows ME / Windows 2000 Pro Dual Boot, HELP

I'm attempting to set up a Dual-boot for WinME and Win2kPro. Currently I have WinME full version installed and I have a copy of Win2kPro upgrade ready to go. I have a 45GB hard drive, 12GB of which is filled, and it is not partitioned.

Is there any way I can set up a dual boot without losing data? If I can use FDISK to make some of the unused space into a second partition, how do I go about installing WIn2k on it?

If your saying you've got one 45 Gb partition which is only 12gb full, then you could try a utility like Partition magic to rearrange your partitions (I think), but it's not a sure fire thing and I personally wouldn't recommend it !
Apart from anything else, you would want to back up alll of your data b4 trying that anyway, as there is always the risk of something going wrong.

Unless anyone else knows better - I'm afraid it would be a case of backing up your date - making a partition for win ME using Fdisk, installing Win ME (do this first), then running the win2k setup - which has a format utility for NTFS (Win2k filing system) running that and installing win 2k.

But have a look around the forum - someone may know a better way - just do a search for "dual Boot" and you may find something useful.
