    Question Help Once More

Ok, I just got a Radeon 64mb ddr VIVO and I love it. I've been asking about what to get lately and decided on this because I also do some 2d stuff and I need the video in. The Radeon runs games SO much better than my archaic crap Riva 128ZX (ugh). But anyway, I got it installed and all my programs run fine, but I have a black bar on the left and bottom of my screen. It is like my desktop got scrunched up to the upper right (I can still see most everything, I just can't even move on the bars). I have tried different a few different drivers and the bars still remain.

If I go into the setup on the monitor I can get the desktop close to normal, but games still have the bar. Something like this happened before with my ZX, but some different drivers helped that. I don't think there are interfering old drivers, but let me know if I can double check this somehow. I also have my IRQ's if those are needed.

So, do you have any advice? My apologies if this has been covered before or it is a stupid nooby thing. Even a link to something about this would help, thanks a bunch. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your input. Specs Below.

    Dell PII 400
    TBS Montengo Sound Card
    256mb PC100 SDRAM
    4x DVD
    11.5 gb HD
    Radeon 64mb Vivo
    19" Triniton (I think) Monitor

well, different cards will send different signals to the monitor - you might just need to recalibrate the settings for each resolution you use. Are you running the games at a different resolution than your desktop? what version drivers are you using?

I run games usually at 800x600 with all the detail stuff turned on. My desktop is at 1024x768. I have the 7153 drivers installed right now.
