What do you game on poll nad some quick questions bout your gaming

PC guy here too... mostly because:

a) I don't have a PS3, XBOX 360, or Wii

b) Most of the games I like are on PC

However, if prices drop sharply, I will get one, two, or even all three of the current generation systems. I'm just into portables, though.

XBox 360. My computer systems are aging, yet any xbox box game off the shelf runs on the console. As a gaming platform, it got too expensive to maintain a high-end PC compared to a single console purchase that will last several years. Plus it plays on a 52" high def TV with digital surround sound. Makes gaming on a 19" LCD with desktop speakers pretty lame.

PC guy here. always been a huge PC gamer which started with a game called space quest.
that being said i do own a ton of consoles:
NES
SNES
Genesis
PS1
used to have a PS2
Dreamcast
Game Boy Advanced
Wii

and i still play all of them...

i never got a 360 since theres only 2 games i want for it : dead rising and GoW and GoW is coming to PC...

never got a PS3 because i just cant afford it nor can i justify getting it with the shaky ground of backward compatibility.

I've gone strictly console now that we have high def systems. Mainly because the hardware cost to play a handful of computer games a year just isn't worth it. I even purchased Oblivion and just couldn't get into it on the computer. Got a copy for the 360 and now I love the game. I guess computers died once I wasn't confined to a bedroom or small dorm room and now have plenty of room to setup a home theater.

PC/360/PS3, I play more consoles than PC if you don't include MMOs. I don't ever see myself totally neglecting PC gaming.

I started out as a console guy, long ago.

Atari 2600, Intellivision, Colecovision, NES.

The Coleco changed things though. I bought the Adam module, and a whole new world opened up. Games like Zaxxon were twice as long with improved graphics and whole new levels.

The PC was a big step backwards - utterly missing graphics and sound - IE 4 color displays. Even so, the games were extraodinary. The Ancient Art of War - first real time strategy game ever made, Star flight and later Sim City added a depth and maturity to gaming that wasn't there in the NES or Genesis.

PC gaming created the FPS, then later with Quake II, 3D accelerated gaming with Voodoo cards. The PC has been the innovator - offering vastly more depth and technical advances.

Yeah, I'm a PC gamer.

Pc for rts and tbs and space exploration. I have three for lan gaming.

two 360's for system link co op gaming and frag fests.

one ps3 for the few ps3 games and to connect to my ps2 for lan gaming.

Why limit yourself? I try the demos and buy the games I like. Looking forward to bioshock, mass effect, halo 3, area 51 blacksite, turok, ratchet and clank, and spore. Mass effect is what I am waiting for. I am a social gamer and like to hear my friends yelling
