For me, with just video, it lasts several hours. I've watched 5 to 7 episodes with 40 minute each.

why didnt like it? Please elaborate.. I have 1.61 or something. One above the one posted on site. So if I dont like the firmware, I would need to save my old
I have DMB and crap...
But the removable battery was a shocker for me. I didnt notice it until I unpacked it. Not to much of an issue. Most mp3/video things are all non servicable.
The battery life is great. I use it 3+ hours a day and havent charged it in 3 days. It is on its last bar. So I figure I have another 3+ hours of video before I need to recharge.
I got my shures in today. Wow was the box massive. Will try it in a bit...

It (1.81) made the performance slower (esp. in transitioning to the next video file)... wallpaper function no longer worked... I reverted back to 1.61. I like it mucho better!

Hey Colossus...
I just found a very useful function... auto resume as soon as you turn it back on!
- Switch on your COWON A2
- Go to Setup and press OK
- Go to System and press OK
- While on General Tab, go down to Boot Resume and choose ON.
- Get out of the Setup menu.
- System should restore whatever u were doing after each turn off.
Found it on Cowon forum site.

Thanks for the PM too.. hehehe
But as I said before.. I saw that the first day I played with my A2. I dont use the resume feature cause I just pick another song on my PL and I have it set to play random.
Any movie I watch and stop would automatically resume where I left it when I turn off, or change what I want to do.

It was comical today...
Sitting on the train today on my way to work... Someone sits next to me and out of his pocket comes a Cowon A2... ROFL!
And there I was sitting listening to my A2, which was in my pocket.
Funny stuff.. I havent seen a fellow Cowon user yet, until today.
