That's what I get for being pumped about getting into the campaign. Oh well, I'm pluffernuter and I will get the code later.

I'm going to pass on the MP until I beat the campaign. I don't really care for RTS MP, I get too mad and stressed when playing RTSs online lol.

You could always just watch MP games have observer spots. A free for all game will be pretty chaotic, and I don't personally care if I win or loose. My bet is on whoever goes terran and makes a bunch of siege tanks and marines.

Don't forget about the custom games Timman! I am addicted to them more than anything else! When I see you on I'll show you what I mean. They all suck the first time or two you play, but when you understand what the heck is going on it all changes. (I do not like pvp whatsoever in RTS since I am the ubersuxorz)

The tower def games are for when you are drinking and don't have the coordination to play ladder games. The game does have the option of a practice league. You get your first 50 games unranked, and you use modified maps that will prevent rushes. You will also be matched up against other newbs.

Would love to but I'm pretty worn out. My last ladder match went way too long.

For those who stay out of politics threads, I'm PCJ/whatever. My username is Tuff, my number is 766. I'm in Europe though so I'm not sure if I can play on the same servers as you guys.

Ok, just for the record all you bastards cost me $60. Yeah, I said I wouldn't pay $60 for this game...but I did. Because of you guys. Thanks a lot. Although, I did have a $15 rewards coupon for Best Buy, so it actually only cost me $45.

Battle.net name is pktgumby code 555

I usually suck at multiplayer RTS (I'm better at FPS), but I do love some comp stomp fun.

Har har har! Welcome to the dark side.

But yeah, don't worry about sucking at real-time RTS'es. After playing about 5 or 10 multiplayer games, the ladder and matchmaking system will eventually put you in the correct league with other people of your skill level. If you want to get better, I'd recommend you check out http://www.youtube.com/hdstarcraft. He provides incredible commentary about replays from pro-level players, so that you can start to understand how they think. You'll learn an incredible amount just by watching those.

And if competitive isn't your thing, there's always Custom games, where you can find games like Last Stand defense games, or Tower Defense games. I'm sure that you'll also start to see some Dota-like games too, because Starcraft 1 custom games was where the Dota game type began.
