I was just brainwashed by fuji's super ccd flash seminar and now am thinking I should get one of their super ccd digital cameras, specifically the Fuji F601. Just wondering if anyone's tried this or any camera with super ccd and what they thought of it. Anyone else willing to be brainwashed by fuji can see the flash thing I saw here. Thanks!

I think their super CCD technology is alright.. but i dont like that they interpolate to use say a 2 megapixel sensor to get a 4 megapixel image. basically a cheaper smaller and more efficent way to get the job done but i dont know for sure what this does as far as image quality goes. i'd much rather have a good 5 megapixel camera like the sony f-717 (i own a sony f-707, the 5 megapixel model prior to that) or a nikon coolpix 5700 than the super ccd camera they have that does 6 megapixels. if you're lookin to buy a camera there are several good sites for reviews..the one i use the most is www.dpreview.com. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fuji6800z/ is a link to one of those super ccd cameras.
