I tried just using the XP compatible EXE a while back, but whenever I tried to save, I'd get booted to the desktop
Time to try this, and if it doesnt work, back to my old MMX 233 I go

I didn't read the link or anything, but is it more of a general fix to make any dos game work?

Nope. Specifically for System Shock. Least I think it is.

Of course it is! Its got a special exe to get sshock running under xp
