Processor Problems
I just replaced my ASUS P4P800E-Deluxe with the P4C800E-Deluxe. When I started up my computer, I got that wonderful little ASUS voice that says "System failed CPU test" Obviously something is wrong with my processor. I had more difficulty mounting my CPU cooler this time, and when I get my hands on some more thermal paste I'll remount it. Is there anything else that is likely to cause this sort of problem? I'm really hoping my processor didn't just die, because I have yet to see it in action...

Re: Processor Problems
Have you checked and made sure you did not bend any pins installing the processor in the socket?

do you have a prescott or northwood, I have no knowledge if prescotts can even be supported by the p4p800e deluxe and if it can't then this post was for nothing
